Anthony Pedley, who played the part of the BFG in the original stage production, tells the story of Sophie and her adventures in Giant Country with the loveable, whizzpopping Big Friendly Giant! All the major characters are brought to life in this tale of dreams, queens, giants, and snozzcumbers!
A 50 minute storytelling version of The BFG for children age 5+

We all love a good story and Polly Highton certainly knows how to tell captivating tales.
These family storytelling sessions are ideal for children age 4 to 7 years, and anyone who enjoys listening to tales well told.
Saturday 14 September - Greek Myths
Hear the greatest legends retold from the time when gods and godesses roamed the earth and mingled with humans.
Saturday 16 November - Naughty Tales
Sometimes, no matter how good you are, you just can't resist the urge to misbehave. Funny stories of those naughty moments!
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each session will last approximately 40 minutes and will take place in the Lily Pond.
Please bring a cushion for sitting on the floor. There will be seats available for adults if you prefer.
