An Audience With... SIR PATRICK STEWART

The film, television and stage actor, Sir Patrick Stewart has had a distinguished career for around half a century. He is widely known for his roles, such as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation  and Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men film series. Sir Patrick is also a stalwart of British theatre, appearing alongside Sir Ian McKellen as the lead duo of Vladimir and Estragon, in Waiting for Godot in 2009.  Most recently Sir Patrick played Shylock in The Merchant of Venice at the RSC.  He is a passionate advocate for the arts and is generously giving his time to help raise funds for The Watermill. 

Sir Patrick Stewart will share stories from his illustrious career and after, audience members will get the opportunity to chat to him over a glass of wine, with cheese and biscuits.

All proceeds from ‘An audience with…’ events go to The Watermill Production Fund which has been set up to support the work on stage, contributing towards the cost of sets, costumes, lighting and sound equipment – all the elements that make the theatre exciting and special for everyone.
