Associate Youth Theatre
Our Associate Youth Theatre consists of some 200 children and young people who are interested in getting involved in drama at The Watermill. We run regular events and workshops for the AYT and try to give as many opportunities as possible for anyone who is interested, but still waiting for a place in the ‘main’ youth theatre.
A typical term of workshops would cost £40 – £50 and is run by one of our professional workshop leaders.
In the spring term this year, for example, over 50 AYT members aged 8 – 17yrs met every week on a Monday or Wednesday evening, devising short plays based on Ovid’s Metamorphosis. These plays were performed open air at The Watermill in May.
