IN AN ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN

Sun 05 Aug 2012

Following  last year’s sell-out success with Shakespeare in the Garden, Yellowtale Theatre company returns with a new outdoor performance. Join us in The Watermill gardens for a celebration of English country life through a selection of poetry and prose from our best loved authors including Emily Bronte, Thomas Hardy, William Wordsworth, Laurie Lee and John Betjeman. There will be many familiar delights and some new treasures inspired by our beautiful landscape.

Bring a rug or something to sit on.

The restaurant is open from 12 noon until 3.30pm for lunch which should be pre-booked with the box office.

Should the weather not be as glorious as the garden, the performances will take place in the theatre with a complimentary glass of Pimms or fruit juice, to capture the taste of summer!
