Outreach News: June 2010

This month, our touring production of Gulliver’s Travels, directed by Outreach Director Ade Morris, completes its tour of village halls, arts centres and regional theatres. This striking adaptation of Gulliver’s extraordinary journey is true to the spirit of Jonathan Swift’s original stunning, fantastical adult satire, and has been getting some fab reviews from critics and audiences.

We’re also working with all sorts of brilliant local schools and organisations such as (deep breath) .... voice coaching sessions with local teachers, developing business skills at Vodafone with The Education & Business Partnership, a workshop on Daisy Pulls it Off at St Swithuns School, a film project with Park House, work experience and talks with Downe House, and Cheam School are visiting for a tour of the theatre.

We’re also taking bookings for our upcoming workshops: sadly the Scratch Choir has already sold out, along with the Junior Play in a Week, but we have spaces on our other courses: the Academy, Senior Play in a Week, Musical in a Week, Salsa Dancing for Copacabana, and the Adult Drama Course that starts in September. Do give us a ring if you fancy any of these.
