Outreach News November 2010

This is an exciting month for The Watermill Young Company, whose production of Bullets and Beetroot Lips, by Outreach Director Ade Morris, is in the theatre this month. Many hours of rehearsal and painstaking line learning are being put in by some very fine young actors. Tickets are selling fast but there might be the odd spare seat if you call the Box Office soon!

This month we’re judging the Police ‘Crime and Consequence’ Play, so our Learning & Participation Director, Beth, is looking forward to visiting Trinity School, Theale Green School, The Downs School , Park House School and Denefield.  And in another fantastic project, our facilitator Rebecca will be spending two weeks rehearsing and then filming The Snow Queen with the children of St John’s Infant School in Mortimer and MWS Media.

We’re welcoming lots of schools to the brilliant Kupenga Kwa Hamlet in the second week of November, before of course welcoming many primary schools for our Christmas production of Treasure Island. We hope you enjoy your visit, don’t forget there are always education packs to download from this website, if you feel you need a little something to get everyone excited about their trip.
