Sheepdrove Organic Farm returns to The Watermill to give another fascinating talk.
Following their successful butchery demonstration in 2009, Juliet Kindersley will talk about the Slow Food Movement.
Slow Food is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. It was founded in 1989 in Italy by food activist Carlo Petrini.
Passionate about the Slow Food Movement and its ideals of promoting the enjoyment and protection of locally produced food products and regional cooking, Juliet will give an inspirational talk including some sampling. Before the talk you will be served a delicious Slow Food supper.
Tickets: £19 (includes a one course supper and coffee)
Supper talk evenings start with a buffet supper at 7.30pm, followed by a talk at 8.30pm (the bar opens at 6.30pm).
If you have any special dietary requirements please call the box office on 01635 46044. Please note that seating is unreserved unless you are in a party of six or more.
