Spring 2014 Season Announced

The Watermill's Spring-Summer season 2014 includes the return of Douglas Rintoul to direct the Arthur Miller classic, All My Sons. Jessica Swales, recently nominated for an Evening Standard Award for most promising playwright for Blue Stockings, will  adapt and direct Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Caroline Leslie, who directed Radio Times and Thoroughly Modern Millie at The Watermill will direct Ian Hislop and Nick Newman's play, A Bunch of Amateurs.  This production is staged in association with Trademark Films. The theatre will again be working with Rhum and Clay Theatre Company, who staged last year's hit production of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, to produce Hardboiled - The Fall of Sam Shadow.  This is The Watermill's rural touring production and is created with Beth Flintoff.

Alongside the main stage productions there is a special fundraising An Audience With... event with Radio 4 presenter, Nicholas Parsons, and book clubs with Virginia Ironside and James Runcie, as well as Saturday morning shows for families to enjoy together.
