We are delighted to be hosting a Watermill Book Club event with the highly-acclaimed bestselling author Joanna Trollope. Her enormously successful contemporary works of fiction, several of which have been televised, include The Choir, A Village Affair, A Passionate Man and The Rector's Wife which was her first number one bestseller, and made her into a household name. Since then she has published eleven other novels including most recently The Other Family.
Her latest novel, Daughters in Law, is a lovely, candid and hugely perceptive exploration of what happens inside every family when one generation, with its ways and habits, has to make way for the next — and everyone needs to learn what family love means all over again.
