Many think Prue Leith is a national treasure. Now a successful novelist, she started in 1960, cooking lunches for directors’dining rooms which grew into the multi-million pound company Leith’s Good Food Ltd. Prue opened a Michelin starred restaurant, Leith’s, established Leith’s School of Food and Wine and is a columnist for national newspapers.

She is also a judge on The Great British Menu series. Alongside her work with charities, including encouraging cooking in schools, Prue has written 12 cookbooks and five novels, Leaving Patrick, Sisters and A Lovesome Thing, Choral Society, A Serving of Scandal and The Gardener and her memoirs - Relish: My Life on a Plate, published in March 2012. Prue will be talking about her life, her love of cooking and her successful career as a novelist.
