of events both at the theatre and elsewhere, creating opportunities for people
to come together and enjoy a variety of different experiences. All are welcome

Monday 12 February: Penny Stokes & The Story of Greenham Common

Penny Stokes talks about the book she has recently published to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Greenham Trust, The Common Good: The Story of Greenham Common.
Monday 26 February: Professor Tony Atkins - The Real Great Western Railway 1835 - 1947
Professor Tony Atkins will give an illustrated talk about one of the most remarkable companies in British railway including pictures of the GWR in West Berkshire.
Monday 5 March: Brough Scott - Churchill at the Gallop
Renowned author, broadcaster and former jockey Brough Scott will explore the important role horses played in the life of Winston Churchill.
Tuesday 13 March: Lord Hindlip
Lord Hindlip, the former chairman of Christie's will talk about some of his favourite works of art, travel and property successes and failures as well as sharing anecdotes about auctions in London, Monte Carlo and New York.
Tuesday 8 May: Janet Fuller - Roman Boxford: Bath Houses, Beer and Bellerophon
Janet Fuller is the treasurer of Boxford History Project and will talk about the results of five years of archaeology at three Roman sites around the village.

Join us for an evening playing Boules in the grounds of the theatre.
Monday 19 March: The Rivals
Director Jonathan Humphreys will discuss his approach to directing a fresh, funny and energetic new version of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's comedy The Rivals.
Sunday 15 April: An Afternoon with Libby Purves OBE
Broadcaster, author and critic Libby Purves presented BBC Radio 4's Midweek programme for 33 years, producing some of the most extraordinary on-air moments in the station's history. She will talk about her career and passion for theatre.
Tuesday 17 April: Lunch and Social Bridge
The Friends of The Watermill welcome all bridge players playing Chicago Bridge Format.
Friday 11 May: Spring Floral Workshop with Hannah Antmann
Creative florist Hannah Antmann of Saint Floral will teach you how to create your own bouquet using a selection of spring flowers and foliage.
Tuesday 15 May: A Morning Ramble Along Disused Railway Tracks To Old Burghclere Station
Enjoy a morning ramble along disused railway lines led by The Railway Ramblers Association from The Carpenters Arms to Old Burghclere Station, returning via tracks and lanes by kind permission of Lord Carnarvon.
