AMÉLIE Book by Craig Lucas Music by Daniel Messé
Lyrics by Nathan Tysen and Daniel Messé Based on the motion picture written by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Guillaume Laurant |
With the arrival of a New Year, now is the perfect time to look ahead to shows being created in 2019. We were thrilled that the UK premiere of Amélie was listed by the BBC and WhatsOnStage in their ‘shows to look forward to in 2019’.
Based on the much loved and five-time Oscar nominated film, Amélie is a feel-good musical filled to the brim with colourful observations and whimsical wonderings. It opens at The Watermill on 11 April. Don’t miss it! |

We are delighted to have been selected as one of the three local charities in the Waitrose Community Matters scheme at Waitrose Thatcham. At the end of January, Waitrose will divide £1000 between the three selected causes, based on the split of green tokens in the boxes. The more green tokens we have, the bigger the donation we receive.
Please drop your tokens in The Watermill Theatre box at Waitrose Thatcham this month to support the creation of our onstage productions and to further our outreach and education work with the local community offstage. To find out more about other ways to support the theatre please click here. |
