Paul Sartin, singer, oboist, fiddler and member of the multi award winning folk band Bellowhead, hosts a special evening of songs and conversation with fellow musician Chris Lambert.
Paul’s career spans over 35 years, he is a specialist in traditional music, and will present songs collected from his ancestors and his home county of Hampshire. He has received commissions from the BBC, RSC, Aldeburgh Music, Streetwise Opera and the South Bank Centre and is Director of the Andover Museum Loft singers and a BASCA (British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors) nominated composer. Paul is a recipient of a 75th Anniversary Award from the English Folk Dance and Song Society, and gained a research Masters for his work on the life and music of his ancestor, Edith Sartin. Join Paul for an evening of wonderful musical folk stories.
