The Watermill's critically acclaimed production of The Hound of The Baskervilles hits the road this summer for open air performances across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Hampshire! The tour begins in East Garston on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 August.

About the show 

A mysterious murder, an ancient curse and a legendary detective…

 

Join us on the wild moors of Dartmoor and prepare for cryptic chaos! Three actors play all the characters in this madcap version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most celebrated Sherlock Holmes story.

 

Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead with the paw prints of a gigantic beast beside him and a look of horror on his face. Holmes and Watson are summoned from Baker Street to investigate the crime and discover the truth about the Hound of the Baskervilles.

 

Join Holmes, Watson and a host of intriguing characters and watch the mystery unfold!

Running time: 1 hour 10 minutes including 20 minute interval

 

The production ran at The Watermill for 4 weeks from 21 May - 19 June 2021 as part of the theatre’s outdoor season. This tour is supported by The Sackler Trust, Principal Supporter of The Watermill Outreach Touring.

 

About East Garston 

This event does not take place at The Watermill Theatre.

This is an outdoor event and will go ahead whatever the weather, so please come prepared for the forecast on the day. 

Chairs will be provided. Ticketing is unreserved with reduced capacity to enable social distancing. We ask that you please respect other audience members to help keep everyone safe. Hand sanitiser will be available on-site.
