The Watermill is a place where everyone is welcome.

We engender a culture that is respectful and attentive to the range of needs and expectations of our communities, and we celebrate how diverse lived experiences enrich our work and society as a whole.

Our approach to equity, diversity, justice and inclusion is reflected in the spaces and experiences we create for everyone – from our actors and creatives to our staff teams, audiences and participants.

Our team are empowered to take action if anyone is behaving inappropriately in any of our spaces. This may include challenging/reporting comments made in person or online, asking someone to leave the theatre or any other action that protects the wider team and public from anything that we believe is hostile or discriminatory.

The Watermill is, and will always be, for everyone.
