Your Visit

Welcoming you back safely to The Watermill

Our absolute priority is to make sure that your visit is as welcoming as possible and that we have suitable measures in place to ensure the safety and confidence of our visitors, staff, actors and creatives.

While you’re no longer required by law to self-isolate if you have Covid-19, we ask that if you or anyone in your group has symptoms or tests positive, you do not travel to the theatre. We are operating a flexible ticket policy, so you can be reassured that you won’t lose out should you be affected by illness. If your booking is affected by Covid-19, we will transfer your tickets to an alternative performance date, or we will provide you with a credit or a refund.

We continue to use enhanced cleaning processes. We will keep Front of House areas well ventilated and use of our outdoor spaces during busy periods such as pre-show and during the interval is encouraged. Hand sanitiser is widely available across the site and we encourage visitors to continue to limit contact as much as possible by using e-tickets and contactless payment where possible.

Although mandatory measures in England have now been lifted, as a shared public space we are committed to ensuring that everyone can get back to enjoying live theatre safely and confidently this year.

While the use of face coverings is no longer required, customer-facing staff will continue to wear face coverings and we continue to ask all non-exempt audience members to wear a face covering when in the auditorium to help protect the health and wellbeing of our customers, staff team and acting company.

We are grateful for your support as we continue to navigate the risk of infection and ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone who visits The Watermill.

We are continuing to review our policies to offer the safest and most comfortable experience to audiences. Please do check back here for the latest guidance at the time of your visit.

If you have further questions, please contact us at admin@watermill.org.uk or call 01635 45834 to speak to a member of the team.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to enjoy live theatre with us during the coming months and hope to see you at The Watermill soon.
