All our youth theatre activities at The Watermill are autism friendly. Ad Lib is especially for young people aged 12 - 16 who have autism. Whether you have a diagnosis of autism, are waiting for one, or are keen to play alongside someone who sees the world differently, everyone is welcome. Using drama and theatre games, you will build your communication and social skills, make new friends, and have plenty of fun.
As well as taking part in weekly sessions, all members of Ad Lib can apply to perform in our Youth Ensemble production each year. These are professionally produced by The Watermill team and performed by over 30 young people aged 11+ on the main stage.
