A free car park is available alongside the theatre buildings which can accommodate approximately 60 cars with an additional parking area for thirty cars available for use when required. It is usually possible to drop passengers close to the main entrance to the theatre (approx five metres away). Please be aware that car parking space is limited. Please car-share whenever possible and help reduce the impact on the environment too.
Coach spaces are pre-booked via the box office. Up to five reserved disabled parking spaces are available which must be booked in advance through the box office. Two of these have been block paved to allow for easier transfer from car to wheelchair.
We have a bicycle rack that can accommodate 6 bikes. The rack is in the main car park alongside the disabled parking spaces.

M4 Junctions 13 to 14: Bridge Maintenance Work – Update
I am writing to provide you with an update on the bridge maintenance schemes taking place on the M4 between junctions 13 and 14. Work at the Welford Viaduct (east of Junction 14) is now complete and the traffic management in this location has been removed. Work continues at the Chieveley Interchange and is expected to be completed by the end of September 2015.
To allow the traffic management to be removed and the communication sensors with the carriageway to be reinstated, we will be closing the M4 east and westbound carriageways overnight (10pm to 6am) on the following dates*:
. Tuesday 1 September – M4 Junctions 12 to 14 Westbound Carriageway
. Wednesday 2 September – M4 Junctions 14 to 12 Eastbound Carriageway
. Monday 14 September for four nights – M4 Junctions 12 to 14 Westbound Carriageway
. Tuesday 29 September for four nights – M4 Junctions 14 to 12 Eastbound Carriageway
During these hours a clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A4.
A34 Ashridge Farm – Bridge Joint Replacement/Underpass Strengthening Work
Starting in late-September, we will be undertaking essential repairs to the underpass which carries the A34 over an access road at Ashridge Farm, which is situated approximately 300 metres north of the Beedon (North) junction.
To allow us to resurface sections of the A34 and install aspects of the narrow lane traffic management, we will be closing the A34 north and southbound carriageways between the M4 Junction 13 (Chieveley) Interchange and the A4130 Milton Interchange overnight (10pm to 6am) on the following dates*:
. Thursday 27 August – A34 Northbound Carriageway
. Wednesday 23 September – A34 Southbound Carriageway
. Thursday 24 September – A34 Southbound Carriageway
. Friday 25 September – A34 Southbound Carriageway
. Saturday 26 September – A34 Northbound Carriageway
During these hours a clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the M4 Junction 8/9, the A404 and M40.
We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the closures – the planning of all roadworks is led by safety for both road users and workers.
