About Stagecraft (ages 12-17)
A weekly social crafting group for young people, who have complications in their life, to take time to get creative and focus on their wellbeing through visual arts.
Stagecraft offers a space each week to get away, focus on mindfulness and wellbeing and come away from the session with your artistic creations. Each session will explore something different, using a variety of craft and art techniques and is designed to get your creativity sparked.

All about Stagecraft
Do I need any previous experience to join?
No, our Young Creatives sessions are for everyone no matter what your previous experience is. Whether this is your first venture into theatre design, or 100th you are welcome to join.
I have done this Young Creatives course already, am I able to do it again?
Yes! As we will be focussing on a new show, the creative process will be different from previous courses and there are always new skills to be learnt and developed further.
Do I need to bring anything?
We ask that you wear clothes that you are comfortable in and that you do not mind getting messy, as we will be using a range of materials (e.g. paint, glue, pens etc.) All workshop materials will be provided, unless stated otherwise.
If you have any medication you may need to take, please bring it in a clearly labelled bag and ensure a member of the team is aware (by contacting the team prior to the session).
Can you support my access need?
We want all of our activities to be as open, comfortable and inclusive as possible, so we’re always happy to chat about specific access needs to make your or their experience as smooth as possible (For example, arranging a BSL interpreter, ear defenders, or movement breaks). You are welcome to try any activity you like!
