Traineeships

Our traineeships offer a 6-9 month paid work opportunity for anyone aged 18 to 25 to work at the Watermill.

Careers through the Arts traineeships are a great opportunity for anyone aged 18 to 25 who may or may not have previously considered a career in the arts. Previous qualifications and/or experience in this industry is not essential. These opportunities will suit candidates who prefer to learn through experience.

Stage Management Traineeship

Salary: £24.454 pro rata

Status: 6 months, full-time 37 hours per week

Our previous traineeships have been for Stage Management, Customer Experience (Front of House and Box Office) and Community/Access.

Our traineeships are part of our Careers through the Arts Project in collaboration with Corn Exchange Newbury. Careers through the Arts provides a programme of opportunities and events to inspire young people in West Berkshire to discover and explore a Career in the Arts.
