"We’re proud to share the success of the 25/26 financial year.
As an independent charity, we’re enormously grateful for all of the support we’ve received to help us realise 7 in-house shows, including our award-winning production of Jesus Christ Superstar; offer over 18,000 opportunities through our community programme; and welcome more than 60,000 people to our corner of West Berkshire. We’ve also been delighted to see hundreds of thousands of people enjoying our productions all over the globe, through national and international tours of Watermill original productions. These achievements, alongside the accolade of holding the Theatre of the Year title for the second time in three years, are a testament to the work of our in-house team, a wonderful collection of creatives and collaborators, and the incredible established and emerging artists who have given their talent and commitment to the Watermill in the last year."
