Kitchen Porter

Working alongside the kitchen and restaurant team, this role will maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment. The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for various duties that support the chefs within the kitchen, including washing dishes and pots, cleaning surfaces and floor areas, managing and maintaining stock and ingredients, and preparing ingredients. Applicants need to be aged 16 or over and will be given relevant training – no need for prior experience.

The Watermill Theatre restaurant and bar primarily operate prior to matinee and evening performances at the theatre, 6 days a week. The restaurant offers a limited 2 course menu, whilst hot snacks are served from the bar. There are up to 70 covers per service in the restaurant, running 12 – 2.30pm and/or 5 -7.30pm.
