These two masterful Ayckbourn plays will be performed both inside and out, promising to be very special productions that will be epic and intimate in equal measure.

House and Garden ’s storyline can be enjoyed through the eyes of different characters in either the theatre or the garden. Both are complete plays with an interval. You may watch either House or Garden or choose to attend both on separate occasions. It does not matter in which order the plays are watched.

In House, at the Platt country manor, womanising landowner Teddy Platt eagerly awaits the arrival of an old friend. Keen to impress his important guest, Teddy’s efforts to reconcile with Trish, his discontented wife, are further thwarted by flirtatious French actress Lucille, guest of honour at the annual village fete taking place outside. Tensions run higher still over lunch as the Platt’s daughter Sally drunkenly hopes for romance, neighbours Joanna and Giles struggle to save their marriage, and the clumsy kitchen staff threaten to ruin everything!
