With only three actors, this gripping adaptation of Shakespeare’s domestic masterpiece cuts to the very heart of the play.
When the celebrated general, Othello, promotes a favoured lieutenant, he provokes his neglected friend Iago into deadly vengeance. The clever Iago plants a seed in Othello’s mind: that his beautiful young wife, Desdemona, has been unfaithful. Within just a few hours Othello’s world unravels, with violent and tragic consequences.
