Here's everything that's coming up that we'd love to invite you to...

Wednesday 6 December, 12.30-2pm
Sign language chatty corner at The Watermill Riverside Cafe. Drop in anytime to chat in BSL, whether you're fluent or a total beginner. BSL interpreter present.

Saturday 9 December, 2.30pm and Monday 11 December at 1.30pm

BSL integrated performances of The Wizard of Oz (closed captions available on request, see 2 Nov Macbeth above for booking info) at The Watermill. BSL usher present.

Sunday 17 December, 5pm

Friday 22 December, 3pm

BSL interpreted performance of Potted Panto by our friends at Reading Rep Theatre.

 

Friday 2 February to Saturday 16 March

Sherlock and the Poison Wood is a new rock musical and will have creative captioning on every performance. BSL integrated performances on Saturday 2 March at 2.30pm and Monday 4 March at 7.30pm.

Saturday 24 February and Saturday 2 March

For backstage insight into Sherlock, book your place on these workshops: P Burton-Morgan on Performance Process and Mark Smith on Movement Both events are BSL interpreted. You might recognise Mark’s name; he’s the Artistic Director of Deaf Men Dancing

Wednesday 14 February 

To get us in the mood for our Youth Ensemble production, our Neverland Family Fun Day is in February half term, with activities and storytelling, with BSL.

Saturday 23 March to Saturday 30 March 

Our Youth Ensemble production of Wendy and Peter Pan has lots of BSL integrated and captioned options.

Ongoing, 1st and 3rd Wednesday every month 

Sign Language Chatty Corner is 12.30pm to 2pm, roughly every 2 weeks. 1st Wednesday of the month at The Watermill (6 December, 3 January, etc) and 3rd Wednesday of the month at Newbury Library as part of Educafe. Just turn up and chat! Any level of BSL knowledge is welcome.

  

Starting again in January on Monday evenings

Duologue youth drama group for 11-17 years who are hearing or deaf. Adult volunteers welcome. BSL interpreter present.
 

We're always keen to hear from workshop leaders or creative people who are deaf or can sign.
